Music recommendation: Paul Brady, Spirits Colliding

There are a few things that drew me to this 2001 album.

Paul Brady is a favourite songwriter, and I like his voice.

Top bass player Victor Wooten and his drumming brother Roy are featured, as is Bela Fleck on five-string banjo.

Paul Brady says it’s his best sounding album. Recorded at studios in Ireland, it was high resolution mastered by Simon Heyworth at Chop Em Out, and produced by Mick Glossop at Master Rock.

I have an Irish branch of my extended family via Pat whose dad was from Limerick.
