I haven’t really got into Prince’s music, except his hit singles and a few of his songs that were covered by others.
His glitzy glamour dress and sexual portrayal got in the way of his phenomenal musical creation.
These “jazz funk” sessions and his instrumental “fusion” albums Xpectation and N.E.W.S are something else.
He really was a musical force of nature.
