This is 25-years old George Benson’s 1968 album on Verve, reissued in 2013. Billy Cobham on drums and Herbie Hancock on piano. Eric Gale on guitar and Ron Carter on bass. Musically, it’s a superb piece of grooving guitar work. And did I mention that is was remastered at Abbey Road, and pressed on 180g vinyl?
So, why allow so many typos in the sleevenotes? If they were in the original notes, then it’s historically authentic. For me, it creates a messy product, and I would prefer they had been corrected for the reissue.
