This Sweetwater live album spotted in the 50c bin appealed, although I half expected it to be country! The band are distinguished as the one that nearly opened the Woodstock Festival (they arrived late). First impression is of a fabulous live sound quality, and vocalist Nancy Nevins sounds like Grace Slick singing Maggie Bell, although a few early vocal passages are a bit off key. Oh, and definitely not country!! This album was recorded in 2001 by a reunited band with new members as three of the mid-late 1960s originals had died since their first three albums.
