Remembering Mom and Dad’s Record Collection

When we first came to love in New Zealand, my son was just 9 years old. We did a Summer roadtrip up to Nothland, and I played Dire Straits’ album Brothers in Arms repeatedly.

Yesterday, now 22, he told us that he has a renewed appreciation of their songs.

He hasn’t yet asked to play any of my records or CDs at home. Time will tell.
